LUKOIL breidt netwerk uit in Nederland met overname van 18 auto Maas tankstations Overname zorgt voor aansluiting tussen Midden- en Zuid-Nederland en brengt aantal Benelux-stations op 263 27 februari 2015, Maastricht – LUKOIL kondigt vandaag de overname aan van 18 Auto Maas tankstations, een belangrijke tankstationexploitant in Nederland. Deze overname past, samen met de overname van 21 Rotonde-stations in Nederland en 10 Belgische Oeral-stations in 2013, binnen de expansiestrategie die LUKOIL sinds 2012 in de Benelux uitrolt. Zo verstevigt LUKOIL haar positie op de Benelux-markt door uit te breiden van 245 naar 263 tankstations. In Nederland zorgt deze overname in Zuid-Holland en Noord-Brabant voor een uitbreiding van het netwerk van 57 naar 75 tankstations. Daarnaast vormt dit de geografische aansluiting tussen de eerdere overnames van LUKOIL in Limburg (SmeetsGeelen) en Midden-Nederland (Rotonde).

LUKOIL launches production at West QURNA-2 oil field in Iraq Today LUKOIL has started commercial production at the West Qurna-2 oil field in Iraq. The official ceremony was attended by Hussain al-Shahristani, Deputy Prime Minister of Iraq for energy, Arkady Dvorkovich, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, Vagit Alekperov, President of LUKOIL, members of the Iraqi government, Basra province authorities and representatives of major contractors.

LUKOIL drills new offshore well in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire LUKOIL Overseas (operator of LUKOIL Group's overseas upstream projects) has completed drilling its first offshore exploration well, Capitaine East-1x, at block CI-101 in the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire.
